Mullingar Sailing Club is an Irish Sailing authorised training centre. During July 2025, the club plans to run its annual sailing training courses, as follows:
Junior Sailing Courses: 30th June 2025 for 3 weeks (Monday to Friday; 9:30AM-5:00PM)
Open to participants aged 11-18 years, the club will offer the following courses under the Irish Sailing Small Boat Sailing Scheme (SBSS):
Cara Na Mara: 21st-25th July 2025 (Monday to Friday, 10:00AM - 2:00PM).
This is a course of awareness and basic skills training for young people aged 6-10 years of age.

The ability to sail a dinghy in force 5 and the appropriate qualifications for the position sought are pre-requisites. Applicants should complete the online application form, specifying their appropriate qualifications and uploading the necessary certificates. Accessing the application form requires a Google login.

Holiday Pay
In addition to the rates above, instructors will receive holiday pay in lieu of paid leave. This will be calculated at 8% of the hours worked in the leave year, subject to a maximum of 4 working weeks.
